Skill Package
OpenClaw is an open-source personal AI assistant software created by Austrian developer Peter Steinberger that runs on users 'local devices and integrates with messaging platforms. The software was originally released in November 2025 under the name Clawdbot, later renamed Moltbot, and finally OpenClaw. It automates workflows across multiple services by performing tasks autonomously through popular chat apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and more. Users can choose their own hardware (laptop, home server or VPS), and come with their own AI model and key. Core features include persistent memory, browser control, file reading and writing, Shell command execution and other complete system access rights. Support community skills expansion, and even write your own functional modules. Within two months of its release, GitHub had more than 100,000 stars and 2 million visitors a week, making it one of the fastest-growing open source projects. The design philosophy is "your assistant, your device, your rules," making AI truly proactive digital employees rather than passive chat tools.
